International Supplement Sales
Expansion impossible end 2009?

Nutritional business
The network marketing business is in it self ideal for international expansion. But what if you are in a nutritional business?
The company invested time, effort and money, opening the international markets for their distributor base. That might soon be coming to an end with the new roadblock named Codex Alimentarius! (food rules)
By mailing out my press release (protest song) to the major website that featured an article about the Codex Alimentarius, my website stats showed little or no action.
The next weekend I started a mailing to natural health websites featuring newsletters. Before I send out my mail I did a quick survey on: ‘Codex Alimentarius’ on their website. 50% did not mention the subject at all, the rest were horrified or thought ‘they’ were protected by the DHEA. On one website I even read that Codex would be no more then the hype over the Y2K.
As for making claims, when any substance having any medical effect in the body, it is required to be put through controlled clinical trials (drug trials) that no natural product company can afford.
Guess what happens next?
“It is critical that every network marketing distributor in the world inform their downline and upline to contribute to this lawsuit”, said Dr Rob Verkerk from the Alliance for Natural Health at a meeting last October in the Netherlands.
The Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) will be replaced by the Maximum Permitted Level (MPL) and we’re not aloud anymore to say anything in our testimonials without scientific proof.
Are you still in business in about two years time, or are you still trying to sell worthless low doses vitamins?
We are facing a deliberately incremental pharmaceutical takeover of the natural products industry.
